Luc Racine

Luc Racine has specialised in handmade furniture since 1983 and has undertaken a wide variety of commissions for both corporate and private clients. Most of the wood used is Irish grown and storm felled and Luc specialises in single plank table or desk tops of exceptional quality. Racine’s work confuses aesthetics with functionality is it furniture or sculpture? This is motivated by the challenge of combining wood in a gravity-defying construct where style is evident but not deliberate.
