Combining art and craft in a way not usually seen in Irish contemporary furniture Joseph Walsh fuses innovative design with excellence in craftsmanship to create remarkable pieces of furniture that are an expression of the designer’s values and ideals. Working predominately with native Irish hardwoods such as olive ash elm walnut and sycamore Joseph’s work exposes the intrinsic quality of his materials while rare and unusual materials such as bog oak burr elm and yew are also employed in some pieces.
