Hey! Well I've always had a thing for Ireland and the irish culture, especially the irish bar culture :D So now that I've moved to my own appartment I'm thinking that I will design my kitchen to sort of resemble an irish bar. So I thought I'd turn to some real irish people for inspiration. What I've come up with so far is: 1. Dark woody surfaces on the cupboard doors. (right now they're all white) 2. A chalkboard where I write beer prices for example. 3. Clovers! :D 4. Irish flag 5. I need a clock over the door (Don't really know if there are any typical irish clocks tho) 6. Pints hanging from a shelf or something like that. Now I need your help. Everytime I've been to an irish bar I've seen loads of pictures and some sort of paintings hanging on the wall. What are these of? Please give me any kind of suggestion. Thanks //Andy from Sweden

Here is two links that may be of use http://www.mcnallydesign.com http://www.derrys.com/ Generally these would be suppliers to the trade. For the wall. Old advertisments for Guinness, irish whiskey, Pictures from 1916, old maps of ireland, or collections of old irish notes would probably work well. Some oil lamps. Here is a picture from a county pub I know. http://www.crossmolina.ie/option,com_gallery2/Itemid,31/?g2_itemId=448/ Thanks, Richard
