It has being announced today that An Bord Pleanála have granted permission to IKEA to build in Ballymun in Dublin. 30 conditions have being attached to the development most notably the fact the M50 upgrade has to be finished, also they cannot open before 11:00am. In my view, IKEA opening in Ireland could take a lot longer than originally planned. The Belfast store will benefit the most as people will have no problem traveling to Belfast to shop there. The 11:00 am opening is also restrictive seeing as it takes so long to get around the store. more information from RTE http://www.rte.ie/business/2007/0613/ikea.html
