Some time ago I fell in love with a dining room pendant light which incorporated a plank of oak and three downlighters It was quite sophisticated and my friend bought it in Global Village in Blackrock, Dublin, However they no longer stock them and I have looked all over inc on the net and all regions. I am holding out that some say I will find one as I think it will finish off my dining room completely. Does anyone have any ideas as to where i might find something similar - clean lines, oak or wood, but not too country kitchen and more modern dining room. I am also in the market for other light and fittings but again I would like something a little unusual without commissioning pieces. Willing to travel! Many thanks -

Did you ask global village who the manufacturer or the supplier of the light was? It may help in your search. Richard -

Richard, I did ask Global Village but they inferred it was so long ago that they would have no record that far back. My friend reckons he bought it in 2000. Lynda
