Hello all New to this forum. I am about to start a soft contemporary furnishing/furniture business in Dublin. Looking for Furniture maker or manufacturer around Dublin who can transform my [b]designs to finished products[/b]. I have checked the listed Makers & Manufacturers on this website but they seem to be focussed on designing and making their own furniture for end clients. Pls help. -

You should consider talking to the Letterfrack Furniture college who may have alumni with the right skills- their graduates could be starting out and looking for business. Also the Furniture And wood Products Network their affilliate non for profit organisation run by project manager Peter Butler 086-353-5910. how are things going with your new venture? good i hope.i am in the same position though starting out making and designing furniture and looking for outlets.i would like to see your designs and hear your ideas, i am not dublin based but live and work in w. cork,and open to making anything in wood and other materials.please leave a message on this blog if u are interested.

You should consider talking to Glenwood Furniture, based in Monaghan. Ph: 047 71515. They do alot of custom furniture, aswell on Heat Proof Tables. They have a fab show room also & are always happy to help out.
