I will be selling an art deco three piece suite this spring. It will be advertised on Ebay between 20th March and 20th April 010. It's a five piece shell suite, was fully restored in 1997, and the settee and two armchairs re- upholstered in red dralon called 'signal red'. The two pouffes are still in the original minkm - beige material. It's had only very light wear and was in storage for three years. I'm selling because I want to rennovate my living room.
The design is called a shell because the front has a convex shape to it, but the back style is close to a club.
The man I bought it from told me it came from the Ealing Studios in London, and was originally a BBC set piece.
The guide valuation I was given by an art deco specialist in London in 08 - was £1000.00 - £1100.00, more the better the condition, it will be listed a lot lower than that.
