Has anyone bought anything from Reids. Just wondering what they are like for value, especially on credit.

I would believe they offer good value, some items may seem expensive but the quality may be far superior, Some beds I have seen in their adds are quite good value. In relation to credit, the best measure is (APR) what the credit will cost you. the lower the better. Typical loans are approx 7 to 8 % APR Thanks, Richard www.furniture.ie

Ordered furniture from Reid's in July. Was told they'd be delivered in 2 months. They then delayed it over and over again and said either Christmas week or the New Year. No apology whatsoever. After searching found the exact same furniture in Harvey Norman's and Jim Langon's at much cheaper prices and they can deliver within a week.

I bought a beautiful mirror from Reids that I couldn't find anywhere else. It had a 8 weeks leadtime so I put my order through. This was in May 07

I ended up receiving my mirror in October... long leadtimes. If it had been any other item I would of cancelled my order, but I was in no hurry and they gave me free delivery to the midlands.

If you are willing to wait and are a patient person, go ahead; if it's urgent, avoid them unless they specifically have your item in stock. Their leadtimes are never accurate.
