I have a bedroom on the ground floor of a house which faces on to a road - I have curtains but I need something else during the day to prevent the glances of curious passers-by.I really hate net curtains - on the continent I noticed that some ground floor windows had a strip of something like plastic contact which obscured the view. I was wondering is there anywhere here which sells such a product? Thanks Sheila

The kind of thing you are looking for is a window film, it is applied to the surface of the glass and makes it reflective or even obscure. There are a range of companies who do this type of thing try searching for Glass tinting or window film.
