Hi we are buying our first house In Summerhill,co Meath and having spent all our money on the house we are looking to furnish it economically. Does anyone know where we can buy decent second hand furniture in Dublin or Meath? We are looking mainly at lounge suites and double beds. Does anyone know of any good auctions for instance? My wife is overseas so Iam hoping to astound her(pleasantly) when she gets back! -

My advice is to spend money on things that you will use like a good bed, table and chairs items such as a sofa will come in time and they are quite expensive. You can subscribe to this forum and keep updated as items become available, also visit www.jumbletown.ie you might pick up something useful there and for free. Also after a bit of time living in the house you may find you may need different things. Thanks, Richard www.furniture.ie -

invest in quality, if you skimp on Furniture and buy chep items they you will end up replacing it sooner, check buy and sell as I got some second hand bargains that did me for a year or so until I got more cah together. -

Instead of buying a seciond hand furniture If you want to spend less money then start purchasing brand new furniture on some online shop and they really offer durable and cheap price furniture.

For a temporary living place, i prefer second hand furniture. if you do not move constantly, it is better to buy high quality home furniture, such as wood carving furniture.
