A couple of questions, Where are you based, what style or material would you prefer. Most furniture shops have supplier catalogues that they can buy from but that they don't display in their store. The web is an ideal solution to overcomming that problem but it will take a lot more work conviencing more companies to into this. I can offer some suggestions. www.christybird.com (you could find anything in their shop) also try this http://www.strawbridge.ie/ (they do a lot of traditional furniture) Thanks, Richard www.furniture.ie

Hi, Located in Dublin 22. Want wooden benches but not too fussy about wood colour or style as they will be mainly hidden under the table. Thanks

This company has some really nice furniture but it may be hard find a bench as their site is difficult to use http://www.zocalo.ie/ If you use our furniture finder service your request will be sent to many different furniture shops. http://www.furniture.ie/content/find_furniture/ Richard

That's the problem with modern mass production, less choice and craftsmanship available when you need it. You could try any of the custom furniture makers or smaller workshops instead or retailers, they should be more than happy to make the benches. Check furniture.ie or Google. Try people who use softwoods or hardwoods rather than larger manufacturers using MDF. Cheers Joe
