    When a Bed Creaks is it time to change the mattress or can I oil the Springs!

    It really depends on how long you have had the mattress. Most manafacturers quote a lifespan of 6-7 years before you should change your mattress. It is also possible that the creaking is coming from your bed/divan. If it is a latted bed, try lifting up the mattress and pushing each lat individually to see if that is the source of the noise as the hot weather may have caused temporary movement of the timber(which can cause noise).
