hi...weve just built a house in carlow  and have come to the expensive part ie furnishing it...when i go to kitchen companies i cant get quotes over the net, can anyone tell me where wed get a reasonable kitchen or would it be cheaper to bring the stuff over from england (where we live) we have the interior all painted now and the next thing is to get the kitchen sorted out...have to do this before we put down floors...will be grateful for any advice...thanks

Hi, I just used a company in Carlow called Woodale Designs and found them very competitive. They have all the different ranges. I went for a Painted kitchen in the end but got a cream pvc kitchen for the utility room form them. There is also Kitchen World in Carlow, Cash & Carry, Springhill and many more I am sure but in my opinion none of them came close to the above company. They are on Pollerton road Just behind the fire station. They have a website also www.woodaledesigns.ie For carpets and furniture you could try D'arcy's on the Dublin road and Lowry's in Graiguecullen. D'arcy's have some beautiful lighting also. You would be mental to bring a kitchen in from England, can you imagine if bits were missing etc.
