on 04/07/08 i was sitting in my house watching for my new £2000 leather suit to be delivered. the wagon pulled up and the young lad knocked on the door, i showed him into the living room and told him where to put it. all the while the driver was sitting in the drivers seat filling out paperwork. the young lad then jumped into the back of the wagon and proceeded to throw my new suit onto the road while my neighbor and i just stood in awe of what we were seeing.yes i know i should have refused delivery but i was dumb struck ! i was damaged scratched and broke. the driver then decided to get out of his seat and help carry the broken suit into my house . i signed the delivery sheet after i made him write down on it that there were damages. i then drove straight to the shop to speak to the manager of the store to organize a new replacement suit or so i thought! the manager said i could not have a replacement suit i said why and he said because we have to try and repair it first. angry was not a word i use lightly but as you can imagine i was furious! it is now 27/08/09 and i am still waiting for it to be repaired. i have just asked the store manager again if i can have a replacement and again he refused. consumer services have told me because i accepted it in the first place i am at fault and cannot demand a replacement. can you help me please?
