We are the Sofa Company in Drogheda, moved from Capel St., Dublin

What we offer are custom-made Irish-built sofas, made to a customer's specifications, in just 14 days. AND WHEN WE SAY 14 DAYS, WE MEAN 14 DAYS. YES, 14 DAYS. We only use proper materials in our sofas, ie, solid beech frames, proper serpetine steel springs, high-density foams - that don't collapse in one year (or one month!), professionally finshed fabrics and leathers and proper hollow fiber in all seating backs. We also offer REAL italian leather sofas and just for your information, folks, if a full suite of "italian leather" costs less than €2000, chances are it's not at all what you have yourself convinced that it is. IE, a lady's purse 12" x 12" in real italian leather can be anything up to €500, what then would make you think that you can buy a whole room full of supposed italian leather for €999, or some other ridiculous figure? It's not italian leather folks, wise up, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! We also carry a range of hard furnishings, ie dining sets, bedroom sets, etc.

We are sick to death of customers being disheartened by their contact with other stores who have let them down, tricked them by clever wording and marketing strategies, and do not come anywhere close to delivering on time. This, in turn, creates a mistrust in the minds of customers coming through our doors, who automatically are on the defensive, as a result of other stores' letting them down. There are, BELIEVE IT OR NOT, those of us in the furniture trade who take the greatest of pride in making sure that our clients receive solid advice upon entering the store, a complete and full explantion of the materials used inside our sofas, and a knowledgeable and detailed explanation of fabrics to use, and are prepared to stand over our products AND OUR WORD.

Therefore, by the time they reach us, oftentimes, although are staff are here, ready, willing, and able to help, we find that clients will not simply say what it is they want help with, instead, the standard response, when asked 'may we help you?', is 'oh, we're just looking', instead of just saying what it is that they are actually trying to find.
