Hi all,Apologies if this is posted in the wrong place or has been dealt with before but I have a query about the upstairs floor of a new house. The builder has nailed large sections of what looks like laminate chipboard on to the floor joists. My question is - If you decide to put a solid floor upstairs should these boards be removed and the solid flooring laid directly on the joists or have I missed something here?Help would be gratefully received. Thank you.
