I was in a well known furniture outlet last week and came across an absolute bargain on a 3 pce. Suite. It really was a steal. I even went as far as to ask if it was correctly priced. I asked the shop assistant to put my name on it and said I would pay for it first thing in the morning. She did this but five minutes later I was told that while I was viewing the piece it was actually being sold to someone else. O.K. that can happen. But this has actually happened to me on three occasions in the same store. Am I being paranoid or is there some sort of scam being pulled here? Would like to hear if anybody has experienced this.
