Extra wood or tiles

Hi, I am just wondering does anyone know generally how much extra tiles or wood i should buy when picking. I know how much sqm i need but is there a general amount extra i should get just in case

There are a number of factors, for tiles some times you may need to tile a new area so check will the tiles be able to be got again. But generally 10% should be enough. The same applies for wood although you should consider if the quality of the flooring isn't great then some parts may need to be wasted. Recently we did a floor area of 15.5 sqm and got 17 sqm. it was all needed in the end. Thanks, Lisa www.furniture.ie
