    Just wondering if anyone knows of anyone taking FAS first year apprentices? Or how to get started? I am 36 and changing my career (Advertising Account Director). I have always had in interest in wood and worked on various DIY projects and just recently installed a new kitchen. Regards, Patrick

    You may be too old for the Apprenticeship scheme, my advise would be to talk to Fas, generally you have to get working with a company that will take you on and sponsor you over the term of the Apprenticeship. Check www.fas.ie for information or give your local office a call.
