Homebase, one of the leading home enhancement and DIY retailers, is continuing its investment within the Republic and Northern Ireland with news that it has just launched a brand new home delivery service for its extensive range of kitchen and bathrooms. With an expansion plan of 15 new stores a year for the next four years across the UK and Republic of Ireland, the home delivery service was considered a vital next step in ensuring Homebase could support the new store programme and increased customer demand as well as offer its customers an added value service within the marketplace.

"Being able to launch this new home delivery service for our kitchens and bathrooms is a great opportunity for us," explained Andy Palgrave, Homebase's home delivery operations manager. "There is significant cost and complexity of the delivery network required, but as a business we took the decision to ensure we could make this range of our products even more accessible and convenient for our customers in Ireland." Homebase customers are now able to order from a range of 20 kitchens or 15 bathrooms in-store and have them delivered to the room of their choice in their home anywhere in the country.
