Aga Launches New 'At Home' Campaign
Aga has teamed up with leading international celebrities including Jasmine Guinness, Alex James and Sophie Conran for the new 'At Home' UK marketing and advertising campaign. Photographed by Mary McCarthy, (daughter of Sir Paul McCarthy), these three celebrities were chosen as each of them has a special place in their heart for the Aga. Well known Irish model, designer and mum, Jasmine Guinness, sums it up by saying, 'An Aga is the heart of the home, it makes life so much easier and warmer.'
Aga, a name synonymous with quality and style, is well known for inspiring passion and devotion. It is an iconic brand which has both a rich heritage and a real relevance in the 21st century. This iconic status is depicted in each of the images shot by Mary McCarthy, who is known for seeing the essence of a person and capturing it with her camera. The portraits show Jasmine, Alex and Sophie relaxed and comfortable in their own environments living with and loving the Aga.
Commenting on the campaign, John Dabb, of Aga, says, 'We wanted to show the Aga in real-life settings rather than a glossy studio set. People often send pictures of themselves, their children or pets in front of the Aga and we set out to recreate this, albeit with a hugely talented and renowned photographer.'
Commenting on his experience of the Aga, Alex James said, 'I use my Aga every day. It's nice, warm and the heart of the home. I love it to bits. The dog, Socks, who's in the picture lives by it, the cat loves it. What more can I say?', Alex James. Sophie Conran added, 'I was thrilled to be involved with the new Aga ad campaign because I've grown up with an Aga and it's very much part of the family. The Aga has fed my children throughout their lives, from baby food to ossobuco.'
The Aga brand has long been synonymous with great food, style and reliability. A cooking legend, the Aga is available in 2, 3 and 4 oven models in a variety of fuels and colours including natural or propane gas, oil or off-peak electricity. Aga also recently announced the launch of one of the most significant new models in recent times. The much-praised Electric Aga – which runs on a standard 13-amp connection – will be offered with the option of the hugely innovative Aga Intelligent Management System (AIMS). The system means consumers will be able to adjust the temperature of their Aga to suit their lifestyle. AIMS is a sophisticated – but wonderfully easy to use – program, which allows you to adjust the output of your Aga to suit your way of life. In short, it means that your Aga can sleep when you sleep and only operate at normal power when you need it.
Aga has three dedicated stores nationwide in Galway, Cork and Dun Laoghaire, which showcase the Aga and Rayburn brands, as well as the Cook Shop collection, which is designed and manufactured with the same meticulous attention to detail and quality for which Aga and Rayburn are renowned.
