Date Set For Belfast IKEA Opening

Date Set For Belfast IKEA Opening December 13^th has been selected as the official date for the opening of IKEA's new 29,000m² store on the outskirts of east Belfast.

No date has been set for the opening of the Dublin IKEA store; it is also unclear when construction will begin. The first sod was turned on the Belfast site by Belfast City Lord Mayor, Pat McCarthy, on Friday 26 January 2007.

Car parking facilities: 1455 spaces including a multi-storey car park
Restaurant facilities: 500 seater Restaurant, Bistro and Swedish Shop
Public transport options: Bus No 27 and 28, and Sydenham Train Stop

Hi Guys,
Im so excited about your opening in Belfast, I travel back and forth to your branch in England. I will be opening new offices in Letterkenny in Jan and I will be going to you guys to buy my furniture. I really hope you will be stocking the 2 seater Klippan sofa (dark blue). Can you confirm same.

When are you guys coming to Dublin? Its great to see you opening in Belfast, like the lady before me, i travel to Leeds to buy my furniture........So hurry up with Dublin....

Hi Guys,

We are running this section to provide as much information as possible on a subject that is of great interest to many furniture shoppers.

The IKEA website states that their store is opening on Thursday 13th December.
