At Furniture.ie, we are continually striving to improve and expand our services. We are honored that our ongoing success has been recognised with various awards and nominations, which are listed below.
Winner - "Best Commercial Website" - The Digital Media Awards 2008
We are delighted to announce that Furniture.ie won the award for Best Commercial Website at The Digital Media Awards 2008.
This is a great honor for all the team at Furniture.ie and we would like to say a big THANK YOU to all of the members of our on-line community as well as our visitors for helping to make our site such a success.
Winners of the 6th Digital Media Awards were announced at a gala ceremony in the Crowne Plaza Hotel on 7th February 2008.

The first ever Digital Media Awards were launched in Dublin in January 2003. The objective of the event was to raise awareness of the emerging digital media sector in Ireland and more importantly to act as a showcase for the many pieces of dynamic work being created by companies and third level institutions accross a broad spectrum of categories.
Winner - "Best Interiors Website" - The Cabinet Maker Interiors Awards 2008
Furniture.ie was awarded 'Best Interiors Website' at the Cabinet Maker Interiors Awards 2008 beating competition from interiors websites from Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Cabinet Maker Interiors Awards 2008 rewards the best in design and retail from across the interiors market. Products were awarded prizes under the categories of best bed, best cabinet, best dining range, best leather sofa, best fabric sofa best light, and best home accessory. Retailers were awarded prizes under the categories best retailer, best trade marketing campaign, best consumer marketing campaign, retail sales person of the year, and best interiors website.
IIA Net Visionary Award Nomination 2007
After receiving the award for "Internet Entrepreneur" of the year in 2006, Furniture.ie was short listed again this year for an IIA Net Visionary award. The awards are run by the Irish Internet Association (IIA).
This year Furniture.ie was short listed in the Innovation category. On the night the award went to Kevin Gill from NewAddress.ie with his great, easy to use change of address service.
Winner - "IIA Internet Entrepreneur of the Year 2006"
The 2006 Net Visionary awards, run by the Irish Internet Association (IIA) awarded the Internet Entrepreneur of the Year award to Richard Moyles, founder and managing director of Furniture.ie.

Cabinet Maker's 'Furniture Factor' Finalist
The Furniture Factor is a competition run by Cabinet Maker, the leading trade magazine in the UK and Ireland. Furniture.ie was a finalist in the category 'On the Ball', for which the judges were looking for someone who has used innovation to improve things for a business or team.
